Lisa Arturo, founder of Big Love Animal Rescue in Los Angeles, asked me if I could come by an adoption event in Valley Village to take some classic dog photography portraits of her adoptable pups. As usual, it was cuteness overload as she had recently saved some adorable pregnant pups from high kill shelters who gave birth to some super cute puppies!

Meet Dallas! She was rescued from Merced with her nine siblings and is believed to be a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix. Dallas is a sweet and playful girl who loves taking on her brothers!

Meet Penny! She’s a two year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix who gave birth to six healthy puppies and is now looking for her forever home. Penny is such a loving girl that just wants to spend her days playing in the sun and cuddling with her forever family.

Meet Chewy and his brother Jabba! Chewy and his brother Jabba were found in a box on the side of the road. We took them in when they were only a few days old. Chewy is an American Pitbull Terrier/Boxer/ German Shepherd mix approximately 8 weeks old. He is the complete opposite of his brother, Jabba. Chewy is a silly, goofy, playful boy. He is very independent, curious, and eager to learn. He is a little cuddlebug when he's not running around playing. Chewy is working on crate training and using wee-wee pads but is in the process of learning to go potty outside. He loves kids and animals and would do well as a family pet.
